If you're not sure what file you should download, find out more about file formats below. After downloading your driver, read through the driver installation notes located at the bottom of the screen.

Windows 95 / 98 driver installation note

  1. Click on the "Start" button found at the bottom left hand corner of the main screen.
  2. From the menu displayed, click on "Settings" and then click on the "Control Panel" option.
  3. Double-click on the "Add New Hardware" icon in the Control Panel group.
  4. The "Add New Hardware Wizard Window" is displayed, click the "Next>" button.
  5. A prompt to search Plug & Play devices is displayed, click "Next>" to continue.
  6. Then choose "NO" to "Do you want Windows to search for your new hardware?" and click "Next>" to continue.
  7. Choose "SCSI Controllers" from the list of Hardware types displayed and click the "Next>" button.
  8. Click on the "Have Disk" button.
  9. Insert the driver diskette into the floppy drive and click "OK" button. At this point, the SanDisk adapter(s) are displayed. Choose the appropriate adapter type.
  10. Click on "Next>" button and then the "Finish" button.
  11. The driver is copied to your system, and added to the installed device list. This may take a few seconds, so standby until the screen changes.
    (Clicking on "Finish" more than once may result in adding the hardware more than once, so don't do it.)

Windows ME driver installation note

  1. Click on the ME driver that you want to download. 
  2. Write down the of the name of the file and where this file is going to be saved on your hard drive.
  3. After downloading the file, go to the location it was saved in.
  4. Double click on the file and follow the instructions on the screen.
  5. DO NOT change anything.
  6. Click finish at the end of the install.
  7. Plug in the ImageMate. It will create a new drive in My Computer.

Windows NT 4.0 driver installation note

  1. Click on the "Start" button on the desktop.
  2. Click on Settings and then open the Control Panel folder.
  3. Click on the SCSI Adapters icon in the Control Panel.
  4. Select the Tab for the "Driver" options.
  5. From the Window display, click the Add button.
  6. Click on Have disk button.
  7. Insert the driver diskette and or/provide the location of the drivers and click "OK" button.
  8. Choose the appropriate adapter type. Click "OK" button.
  9. The driver is copied to your system and added to the installed device list. This completes the driver installation. Restart the computer as prompted by NT for the driver to take effect.

Windows 2000 driver installation note

  1. With the PC turned off, first connect the parallel port reader.
  2. Boot Windows2000. The OS should automatically find the new hardware and run the installation wizard.
  3. Provide the location of the EPCFW2K.inf and EPCFW2K.SYS files.
  4. The driver files will now be copied and the system may timeout for a brief period until the driver loading process has completed.
  5. After all hardware sub-devices have been detected and installed, then the media will be accessible via Explorer as a removable drive.
